Flo Bertoluzzi 

East McKeesport High School:  1934 graduate

FOOTBALL:  Ironman performer- played every minute (except five minutes his junior  year) every football game 8th-12th grades, defensive line and running back, Daily News All Star Team 1933 and 1934, WPIAL All Star 1934

BASKETBALL:  Guard four years, Captain senior year, Daily News All-Star Tem senior year

BASEBALL:  Catcher junior and senior years

TRACK:  Shot put

Won 11 letters in sports 

Coaching Career:  Bryn Maur Preps football team, White Oak Legion Semi-Pro football team 1944-46 

Other Athletic:  Organized and commissioner of East McKeesport Softball League 

Frank Chismar 

Ten Pin Bowling: Bowled five 300 games, three 299 games, two 298 games and one hundred and fifteen 700 series, with a high 781 series; Greater Pittsburgh Ten Pin Bowling Assn. Singles, All-events and Team Champion member in same year, West Penn Singles Champion four consecutive years, GPTBA singles and doubles titles two times and All-events title three times, Homestead Owls singles champion age 16 with four game total of 801, bowled over 35  years averaging over 200, high league average 218, only PA bowler and partner to reach finals in World Doubles Tournament 

Inductions:  Western Chapter, PA Sports Hall of Fame 1972, Allegheny County Sports Hall of Fame 1973, Greater Pittsburgh Ten Pin Bowling Association Hall of Fame 1976

National Professional League Basketball:  Pittsburgh Raiders 

Semi-Pro Basketball:  Organized, played, coached for East Pittsburgh Pirates, three time National Pro Tournament in Chicago 

Coaching Career:  Basketball, St. Thomas High School 1949-52, 1949 team in Catholic League final game, Coach of Catholic League All0Star team 1950, District director of Catholic  Youth Assn. 1951-53, Helped organize and President of East Pittsburgh Little League, Coach in Sunset Little League in north Versailles Twp.

Niagra University:  Basketball, 1st team four  years, played in three NIT tournaments, university scoring record, Collegiate All-American, played with College All-Stars and Harlem Globe Trotters

Coaching Career:  Wilkinsburg High School head basketball coach  1972- , Section 7 Champions 1976-77, WPIAL playoffs four consecutive years, coached Dapper Dan Roundball Classic 1969 and 1974, Section 7 Coach of the Year, 1976-77, All-Star team coach at Boston Shoutout two years, City of Pittsburgh entry in Junior Olympic Youth Games three years 

John Galla 

Native of North Braddock and graduate of Scott High School 

Independent Basketball:  North Braddock Vikings, Wilmerding YMCA team- won National YMCA titles 1935, 1936 and competed in US Olympic tryout tournament 1936, defeating University of Utah in first game- lost to eventual champions Universal Pictures 

Service:  29th Division, organized and played basketball and volleyball, won titles in both 

Other:  Scout Master, Little League Baseball Manager six years In North Versailles Township area

Other Career:  Dean of Students at Boyce Campus, established many physical fitness programs, Swissvale’s Man of the Year 1983, YMCA Board of Directors, Swissvale Recreation Board, Swissvale School Board and Boro Council, Mayor of Swissvale

Born and raised in North Braddock.
