St. Vincent College- Business Manager of Athletics and Director of Public Relations 1939-41 

Other:  Contributed over 50 years as athlete, manager, coach, sports writer, editor, book publisher, college public relations and athletic administrator as well as General Manager of professional baseball and basketball teams and promoter of professional boxing.

Villanova University:  lettered three years, achieved scoring records 

Coaching Career:  Basketball at York, PA Central Catholic High School, won championships 

Bernard Manson

Edgar Thompson Community Baseball Team- pitcher and first base 

Recognized as one of the best sandlot pitchers developed in the Pittsburg District;  competed against such teams as the Homestead Grays, Kansas City Monarchs and Pittsburgh Crawfords.;  pitching record 1937:  25-4, in 1941:  25-6

Duckpin bowling- #1 ranked USA and Canada, 1951-52, 182.7 average for 250 games.  #1 in 1952-53 with 188.25 average for 503 games.  In Ripley’s Believe It OR Not after bowling 802 series- scores of 279-258-265.Bowling Congress doubles title 1954 with Frank Liposvsky, 1220 series

Boxer- 1930’s, Fought at the Moose Temple, Hickey Park, McKeesport Palisades, Motor Square Gardens, Philadelphia and New York.  Fought over a hundred fights under Frank Klause; recorded knockouts over Paul Perrone, Anson Green and Cowboy DeLuca
