Coaching Career:  Edgewood High School coached football, basketball and baseball, one undefeated football season, won WPIAL basketball championship 1973, runner-up next two years, Southside Beaver High School football and basketball, Central Catholic High School soccer 1979, Churchill High School girls basketball- led to only playoff appearance 1986, Churchill and Woodland Hills High Schools tennis- won section title, made playoffs 

In 28 years, coached 64 seasons of varsity sports, won 485 high school games in nine sports, played on two undefeated Navy basketball teams and two championship Navy softball teams
