The Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame was established to honor the enduring legacy of athletes who have significantly enhanced Pennsylvania’s reputation through exceptional athletic accomplishments. Additionally, individuals who have made substantial contributions to the Pennsylvania sports realm, whether through coaching, managerial roles, promotional efforts, or other influential capacities, are eligible for recognition under this distinction.
Annual Golf Outing
Each year it is our goal to award $1,000 scholarships to high school scholar-athletes. The outstanding individuals are selected from the following eight local school districts – East Allegheny, Franklin Regional, Gateway, Penn Hills, Penn Trafford, Plum, Riverview, Woodland Hills – and are awarded their scholarships at the annual Fall Induction Banquet.
